Forerunner Equipping Center

TPR is called to help equip this generation in wholehearted love for Jesus, in understanding the unique hour we’re living in, and in practical ministry that partners with God’s specific purposes for this generation. We have a deep conviction that the Lord is calling forth forerunners who, like John the Baptist, will go ahead of the Lord to proclaim the message of His soon return and to help prepare the spiritual landscape for that hour. Our Forerunner Equipping Center (FEC) exists to fulfill this mandate by offering a variety of internships and part-time training programs, as well as a Bible school. Each FEC program provides training with a tailored focus while equipping all of our students and interns in the lifestyle and message of a forerunner.

  • Internships

    Our internships are part-time programs that immerse interns into the house of prayer for a focused season. Interns will learn many new things about Jesus in their classes, many things about themselves in serving, and will enjoy the invaluable gift of godly community as they set apart this season to the Lord. They will have both their Bible and the person of Jesus opened up to them in a fresh way as they are challenged, strengthened, and taught to go deeper in Christ through a lifestyle of prayer. Upon graduation, interns are given the option to join missionary staff with The Prayer Room.

  • Part-Time Training Programs

    Our part-time programs aim to equip students for the unique pressures they will face as ministers in this generation. We offer semester-long programs that focus on a variety of ministry assignments. We train singers, musicians, and worship leaders to lead in the realm of worship (Forerunner Music Academy), messengers proclaiming with power (School of Supernatural Ministry), pioneers of praying communities (House of Prayer Planting School), as well as equipping children to lead the next generation (Daniel Academy). While we always offer our children’s training school in the spring and fall, we rotate through our other part-time programs according to the measure of interest and as the Lord leads.

  • Bible School

    TPR's Bible school, called the Forerunner School of Ministry (FSM), is a great way to receive in-depth bible training on a part-time basis. FSM offers classes on a semester basis and students may sign up for courses based on interest or take all the classes offered in a given semester. The curriculum varies each semester, but our course themes include End Times, Life in Christ, Forerunner Lifestyle, Revival, The Prayer Movement, and New Testament Christianity. As part of your schooling, students spend two hours in the prayer room for every one hour of class time. This combination of theological education in the midst of night-and-day prayer is what makes FSM a unique environment for students to flourish in.

  • IHOPU Global

    TPR is delighted to have become an Educational Partnership Location of the International House of Prayer University! An educational partnership location of IHOPU combines all the benefits of a robust IHOPU education with a local spiritual community of believers who are on the same journey right here in our city. This partnership offers a unique experience as students virtually attend IHOPU classes—receiving instruction from IHOPU faculty—while finding community and completing their prayer room hours at the TPR Missions Base.
