God has long established His priesthood in the testimony of both the Old and New Testaments as well as what can be seen in a study of history. In this class, students will be taken from Genesis to Revelation for a comprehensive biblical study of what the priesthood is, its function, and how it has changed. The class will cover what it means to be a priest, from the first priesthood of Melchizedek, then throughout Israel's history and the time between Malachi and Matthew. The course also examines how we are to participate now and even how things will look in the coming age and eternity. The course helps to answer the questions of the relevance that prayer and sacrifice have to atonement and so establishes good foundation for the role of the Prayer Movement in this hour.
