We’d like to make you aware of a handful of our online courses that have been written with you in mind. Each of these connects aspects of your assignment to build the house of prayer in its various expressions to the scripture in anchoring ways. These courses will fuel you and then your community, should you choose to reteach on these themes later on. Each course book is 14 sessions long and will lead you through a rich, in-depth Bible study on the course topic. In our journey, we often found ourselves coming up short, always operating with little money, limited human resources and no one to get answers from as we reinvented answers to problems that nobody really understood. This handbook represents seven plus years of hard learned lessons of trying to build a house of prayer from the ground up. The 14 sessions lay out practical steps we’ve learned of how to establish and maintain a house of prayer with limited resources and influence. I was surprised at how great of a joy it was to write this handbook; I was motivated by the hope that I could save people many headaches by simply providing ideas that had been proven to work at least once. The Lord is orchestrating an unprecedented movement of His Holy Spirit across the nations of the Earth. Forerunners aren’t born, they are forged. The lifestyle that they give themselves to really matters, as there are things that stir a heart into the abandonment required for the forerunner calling and there are many things that can dull that same heart. As leaders it is important that we set the pace and establish a healthy context for these forerunners to learn in and grow up into their full potential. Because of the level of intensity that this type of culture carries, it is an exciting environment to be part of for those wanting to be challenged and provoked into a deeper level of commitment to Christ as their daily reality. The very nature of a forerunner culture means that it isn’t going to be wholly embraced by the masses; it should therefore be understood that this is a narrow way that will deter more people that it attracts. In this course we will look at what is meant by the culture of the forerunner and the ways that we have cultivated this within our community over the years.
The scriptures testify that during King David’s reign he set up a tent in Jerusalem where he appointed a new priestly order to keep the fire of night and day worship burning. The Bible subsequently makes some unusual statements about David that clearly sets him apart from all other men. These are declarations about how God saw David, his decisions and his priorities and this testimony has everything to do with a promise that David made to God while still in his youth. In this course we will look at the solemn vow David made to build God a resting place and then how he walked that commitment out for decades. We will make discoveries into the devotion David had to God and see the house of prayer that he established and sustained for Him during his generation. This course will allow us to see into David’s heart; the man that God said had a heart after His own, as we look at the ancient worship order, he established for God in a tent on Mount Zion.
The prayer movement, while currently exploding across the nations, is not a new idea. This course tracks the movement of 24/7 prayer and cites the many scriptures that tell us how much God loves this extravagant practice of intimacy with God. The course takes students through the prayer history of Israel through Moses, Samuel, David, Solomon, and the many others. We will study the movement as it continued into the early church, on through the Middle Ages, into the modern era, and even into the Millennium.
God has long established His priesthood in the testimony of both the Old and New Testaments as well as what can be seen in a study of history. In this class, students will be taken from Genesis to Revelation for a comprehensive biblical study of what the priesthood is, its function, and how it has changed. The class will cover what it means to be a priest, from the first priesthood of Melchizedek, then throughout Israel's history and the time between Malachi and Matthew. The course also examines how we are to participate now and even how things will look in the coming age and eternity. The course helps to answer the questions of the relevance that prayer and sacrifice have to atonement and so establishes good foundation for the role of the Prayer Movement in this hour.

A Brief History of the Prayer Movement
From the beginning God has longed for an extravagant human response to Him from the place of worship. The scriptures tell us about this unique aspect of His heart where He desires radical prayer and worship expressions to arise before Him from His people. History shows us that He has often seen this desire met through countless examples of those who have rallied together to form night and day prayer communities throughout the centuries. It will be the focus of this series to give a brief overview of the movement God has long had in His heart and which He has established at various times and in various places across the globe.

Building His Priesthood
The Lord has desired a faithful priesthood from each generation, a people set apart for Him, to minister to Him and to draw near to His presence. Throughout history there have been times when His priests served Him and other times when the entire priesthood was rebuked for their half-hearted service. It is the wisdom of God to raise up priests and the benefit of an entire generation to have them serving faithfully. The priesthood was always God’s idea; a people set apart to hear from Him, cry out to Him and speaking on His behalf; they are His ministers. This series looks at how God is again building His priesthood in our generation, calling forth faithful priests who will minister to Him in friendship and in worship and then out of that position they are to minister for Him to the people in intercession and in teaching.

Called to Be An Intercessory Missionary
The Lord is restoring the occupation of full time priests who minister before Him in the place of prayer and worship as their primary function in the Kingdom. The term we use to describe this calling is “intercessory missionary” and there are now thousands of these modern day priests serving at houses of prayer all across the nations of the Earth. These ministries have a very specific focus and in order to accomplish their mandate they require full time staff to stand before the Lord all the hours of the day and to help keep the doors open so that others are able to come encounter the Lord. This series introduces the concept, the calling and the lifestyle of the intercessory missionary. Those whom the Lord calls into this glorious reality will experience incredible and rare blessings and will also have to lay down many things in order to build God a place where He is adored night and day.

Casting Vision for the House of Prayer
In Matthew chapter 21 Jesus made a profound statement about the future expression of the Church; He said that His Father’s house would be called a house of prayer for all the nations. In recent years we have seen the beginning of that prophecy becoming a reality as ministries all over the Earth are embracing a vision for establishing the place of prayer as primary in their activity. This series looks at God’s heart for why this would be the case and casts vision for what the New Testament has to say about the Church functioning as a house of prayer.

Global End Time Prayer Movement

Importance of Intercession
It is remarkable that God would be willing to share His government with us; perhaps even more intriguing is the way He decided to do it. The concept of intercession was God’s idea; the strategy He thought up for how to include the saints in ruling His Kingdom along side Him. This mysterious and beautiful approach to partnership greatly impacts our hearts and lives. Intercession first draws us into intimacy with Him, which transforms us, and then from that place of holy submission He anoints our prayers to see His will accomplished. The Praying Church
The term “Praying Church” is not talking about anything new or anything outside of historic Christianity. In fact we really believe that the Praying Church is a returning to ancient foundations for the Church. There are some common threads that we believe are foundational to the Lord’s purposes for the Church in this hour tied to us becoming a praying people. The Lord is in pursuit of praying churches that fully embrace His heart and purposes for this generation. This series is a dialogue about the importance forming a culture of prayer as well as some of ideas about what that can look like in our various contexts.
