Partnership Development

Partnership Development is a key part of stepping into full-time ministry in the house of prayer. It is the process of inviting others to partner with what God is doing by standing with you through prayer and financial support. On this page you will find books, courses, and practical tools designed to help you build and sustain a team of partners who share in the vision of day and night worship and intercession. These resources provide biblical foundations, practical guidance, and proven strategies to help you develop a healthy partnership team so you can give your life fully to the ministry God has called you to.

Books and Courses:

TPR's Partnership Development book and audio course is an 8-part training on how to help an intercessory missionary develop a team of people who will act as partners with them in ministry through prayer and financial support. This resource provides practical instruction on the process, describes how to go about raising up a team of partners, and it helps cast vision for how this team of people works together in order to fulfill aspects of the Great Commission that could not otherwise be accomplished.

This course by Rob Parker is roughly 8 hours long broken into three sections of short videos: Section A: Getting Our Minds Right, Section B: Model and Strategy, and Section C: Prepare and Launch. These three sections cover everything from the biblical foundation of partnership development and overcoming mental blocks to writing your letter, building connections, and conducting your "ask" meeting. You’ll also learn how to expand your reach through referrals, small groups, and churches.

God has given you a vision for ministry, and now you get to invite others into that vision. The God Ask by Steve Shadrach is a book designed to help you 1) develop a practical step-by-step plan to track and progress toward fully-funding your ministry, 2) overcome common myths and obstacles in support raising with scripture and stories of God providing for Nehemiah, Elijah, Jesus, and his disciples, and 3) utilize proven templates, scripts and frameworks used by staff from 1,000+ organizations.
