NATIONAL HOUSE OF PRAYER LEADERSHIP SUMMIT
Fall 2023
A Much Needed Time Together:
We are so excited to announce this year’s leadership summit September 13th-16th. As many of you know, last year our co-op hosted the first national HOP leadership summit in a long while. We had an absolutely phenomenal time together that week; many new friendships were birthed, we really felt the family vibe, and I can say confidently that everyone walked away strengthened. We were nothing but encouraged as we heard many leaders share how impacted they were by the time we had together. Our goal as a co-op is to make this year’s event even better. The Prayer Room Missions Base, located in the Dallas area, has the honor of hosting this event again. We would like to strongly encourage you to clear your schedule to be a part of this rich time of equipping, encouragement, and connection.

Report from last year’s summit:
-
CONNECT
A major reason for this gathering is to connect with one another. We want to foster an environment for relationships to flourish — for old friends to see each other and new friendships to begin. The assignment is too difficult to carry out alone. We will have a fully loaded green room for the entire event complete with tables, coffee, and refreshments. Feel free to steal away there at any time to connect with each other.
-
REFRESH
One of the benefits of the summit is how narrow the focus is. It’s aimed at those who are leading houses of prayer and praying churches. Be refreshed in our general sessions as we hear vision casting, encouraging messages specific to house of prayer leadership, and updates about what is happening across the movement both nationally and abroad.
-
EQUIP
Lastly, we want to equip you with practical tools to advance the mission in your various environments. The conference will feature breakout sessions on a variety of topics related to building the house of prayer and resources tailored to house of prayer leadership.
Who is Invited:
This summit is for house of prayer directors, praying church pastors, people who want to start houses of prayer, and pastors who want to shift their churches into praying churches. Leaders are welcome to bring their leadership teams.
Hosts and Speakers
Co-Op Introduction:
About ten years ago, a handful of houses of prayer formed what we now call the National Missions Base Co-Op, or the “Co-Op” for short. We came together as missions bases that were all doing 50+ hours of live worship each week, hoping to learn from each other and encourage one another. We've since formed deep friendships. This is the group pulling together to make this conference happen.
Hosts:
This leadership summit is being organized by the leaders of the National Missions Base Co-Op (Co-Op) and will be hosted by The Prayer Room Missions Base (TPR). TPR’s director Brad Stroup will serve as emcee.
Speaker:
Allen Hood (M.Div., Asbury Theological Seminary) served on the leadership team at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City from the very beginning. He served as the Associate Director of the IHOPKC Mission Base from 2000-2020 and as the President of the International House of Prayer University from 2003-2016.
Zoom-in Speaker:
Mike Bickle is the founder of the International House of Prayer Missions Base of Kansas City, an evangelical missions organization based on 24/7 prayer with worship that is engaged in many evangelistic and inner city outreaches along with multiple justice initiatives, planting houses of prayer, and training missionaries.
Event Cost: $89

Optional Components Available
Base Tours:
We recognize that many of you will be traveling quite a distance to come to this event and that you might like the opportunity to tour The Prayer Room Missions Base (the host site for this summit). TPR has been building night and day prayer since 2005 and currently has 22 hours a day of live worship. Tours will be led by senior leaders from TPR. A sign-up form will be emailed to you after you register, and sign-ups will also be available at the event.
Co-Op Leader Meals:
The National Missions Base Co-Op formed in 2012. This group of house of prayer leaders have formed deep friendships and are the ones hosting this summit together. Each of these leaders has been building the house of prayer for 10+ years and we wanted to create opportunities to connect with you in small groups over a simple meal. As a result, each of the Co-Op leaders will be hosting mealtimes that you can sign up for one of if you are interested in connecting further with any of us. There is limited availability per Co-Op leader to ensure a small group setting. Sign-ups will be available at the event.
Prophetic Ministry:
The team that is coming from PIHOP has a rich history in offering leaders prophetic ministry and we are excited they have agreed to come and serve you in this way at this summit. A sign-up form will be emailed to you after you register, and sign-ups will also be available at the event.
Green Room:
For your convenience we have set up a green room on site that will regularly be restocked with snacks, coffee, and other beverages. This room will be available at all times during the summit for you to refresh or to connect with each other. This is a dedicated space for you to get away and grab a snack if you need it at any point. Feel free to skip a session in order to connect with a new friend or catch up with old ones; this room is here for you.
Leader Meet and Greet with Members of the Co-Op:
These times are an opportunity for summit attendees to meet members of the Co-Op, both to meet some seasoned leaders in the prayer movement as well as to connect with us as the summit hosts. The Co-Op base leaders are all planning to be present at both meet and greet times so that we have the opportunity to connect with summit attendees.

2022 attendees said:
“I loved seeing the next generation step into the call and connecting with the House of Prayer family!!"
— Morgen Mosley
“In all honesty, what was most impactful was being in the company of other prayer movement minded people. We tend to be “head down, IN the work” and is so easy to lose sight of the many others laboring in the same vein."
— Fawn Lee
"We were really impacted by how many houses of prayer are rising all across the nation and were so thankful to the Co-Op for putting this event on for all of us."
— Christine Lima
"It was exciting to meet people from across the nation with passion for Jesus and the desire to pray for God's Kingdom purposes. Great job! We enjoyed it! Thanks for putting it together!"
— Shara Brister
"Having leaders from different houses was helpful and encouraging, this was one of the best gatherings I've been to"
— Brian Lee
We hope that you’ll plan to join us for what we believe will be an important and encouraging time together as leaders in the prayer movement.
